Seller Guidelines

1. Overview

These guidelines set out the expectations for sellers using Tiidon, whether they are individual sellers, business sellers, or verified sellers with access to additional platform features.

2. Seller Responsibility

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that everything they do on the platform is lawful, accurate, fair, and consistent with Tiidon’s marketplace rules.

• Only list products or services you are legally allowed to sell.
• Do not mislead buyers or hide important facts about your product or service.
• Act honestly in all transactions and communications.
• Maintain control over your account and seller activities.

3. Accurate Listings

Every listing should clearly and truthfully describe the product or service being offered.

• Use the correct title and category.
• State whether the product is new, used, refurbished, or otherwise.
• Disclose important defects, limitations, or conditions.
• Do not advertise one item and try to sell another.
• Do not create duplicate or spam-like listings to manipulate visibility.

4. Pricing and Transparency

Sellers must display prices clearly and avoid misleading buyers about costs.

• Show the intended selling price honestly.
• Do not use fake low prices only to change the amount later.
• Be clear where delivery, installation, or extra charges apply.
• Do not bait buyers with unavailable offers or hidden conditions.

5. Images and Product Presentation

Listing images should match the actual item or accurately represent the service being offered.

• Use real and relevant images whenever possible.
• Do not use misleading images that exaggerate quality or condition.
• Do not upload copyrighted, inappropriate, or irrelevant visuals.
• Ensure images are clear enough for buyers to understand what is being sold.

6. Buyer Communication

Sellers are expected to communicate professionally and respectfully with buyers.

• Respond to genuine buyer inquiries within a reasonable time.
• Provide truthful answers about price, condition, availability, and delivery.
• Do not harass, insult, threaten, or manipulate buyers.
• Do not use abusive, deceptive, or pressuring sales tactics.

7. Stock and Availability

Sellers must keep stock and availability information reasonably accurate, especially where ecommerce-enabled listings are used.

• Do not keep listings active for products that are no longer available.
• Update stock information when items sell out.
• Do not accept orders for products you cannot supply.
• Remove or correct outdated listings promptly.

8. Delivery and Fulfilment

Sellers are responsible for the delivery, fulfilment, pickup coordination, or other completion method they offer to buyers.

• Clearly state available fulfilment options such as pickup, meet-up, courier, rider, or store delivery.
• Only offer delivery methods you can reasonably support.
• Do not confirm delivery arrangements you do not intend to honor.
• Communicate delays or changes honestly and promptly.

9. Refunds and Complaints

Sellers are generally the first party responsible for handling refund-related issues and buyer complaints relating to their listings.

• Respond fairly to legitimate complaints.
• Do not ignore buyers after receiving payment.
• Where you state return or refund conditions, honor them in good faith.
• Cooperate with reasonable dispute review where Tiidon is asked to assist.

10. Verified Sellers and Ecommerce Access

Tiidon may offer verified seller status and ecommerce-enabled selling tools to approved sellers who meet verification requirements.

• Verification may involve ID verification or business verification.
• Only approved verified sellers may gain access to certain ecommerce features.
• Verification does not remove the seller’s responsibility for honesty, fulfilment, or buyer treatment.
• Tiidon may withdraw verification or ecommerce privileges at its discretion.

11. Prohibited Conduct

Sellers must not engage in prohibited, unlawful, deceptive, or abusive activity on Tiidon.

• Posting fake or misleading listings
• Selling prohibited, illegal, stolen, or counterfeit goods
• Requesting payment for goods you do not intend to provide
• Manipulating ratings, reviews, visibility, or search results
• Using multiple deceptive accounts or impersonating another seller or business
• Using the platform for scams, fraud, or unlawful activities

12. Trust and Safety Expectations

Tiidon expects sellers to support a safe and trustworthy marketplace environment.

• Respect buyer safety and platform safety rules.
• Do not upload unsafe, harmful, or misleading content.
• Cooperate with trust and safety reviews where required.
• Do not attempt to avoid enforcement by editing or re-uploading violating content repeatedly.

13. Enforcement and Consequences

Tiidon may take action where a seller violates these guidelines, the Terms and Conditions, or other platform policies.

• Listing removal
• Reduced listing visibility
• Warnings or account restrictions
• Loss of seller privileges
• Loss of verified seller or ecommerce access
• Suspension or permanent account termination

14. Best Practices for Sellers

Sellers who follow strong marketplace practices are more likely to build trust and succeed on Tiidon.

• Use clear product titles and accurate categories.
• Write honest descriptions with enough useful detail.
• Upload quality images of the real product.
• Respond to buyers politely and quickly.
• Keep stock status updated.
• Deliver or fulfil exactly what was promised.
• Resolve complaints professionally instead of ignoring them.
• Operate consistently to build long-term reputation.
