Overhead Crane Operators

Job Summary We are seeking experienced Overhead Crane Operators to handle lifting and movement of materials within a manufacturing plant. The role requires safety awareness, precision, and the ability to work in a fast paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position materials Load and offload steel products, raw materials, and equipment Follow lifting plans and supervisor instructions Conduct daily crane inspections and report faults Ensure safe rigging and proper use of lifting accessories Maintain clear communication with ground personnel Follow safety procedures and company policies Keep work area clean and organized Assist with general yard or plant operations when required Requirements Grade 12 certificate or equivalent Valid Overhead Crane Operator certificate Minimum 2 years experience operating overhead cranes, preferably in manufacturing or steel industry Good understanding of lifting safety procedures Physically fit and able to work shifts Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure Good communication skills Key Competencies Safety conscious Attention to detail Good coordination Reliability and punctuality Teamwork How to Apply Submit your CV and relevant certificates with the subject "Overhead Crane Operator Application" to the HR Department.
